1. Program Introduction
Just 30 minutes a month can open the world to INSchool students without leaving the classroom!
“30 minutes – Global Minds” is a special international learning and exchange program by INSchool, where students strengthen their global mindset and knowledge, enhance their English proficiency, and connect with friends from around the world.
This is more than just an academic activity — it’s a passport to global integration, helping every INSchool student grow into a confident, capable, and forward-thinking Global Citizen.
2. Program Objectives
The program is designed to help students:
- Connect with international friends: Create opportunities to learn, share, and interact with peers from other INschool campuses and countries through an online learning space.
- Develop global knowledge: Explore themes about world culture, history, geography, science, technology, and global issues.
- Improve English proficiency: Through guest speaker sharing and English-based quizzes, students enhance their listening, reading, and language skills in authentic contexts.
3. Participants
Open to INSchool students across all campuses and students from international partner schools.
- Group A: Grades 1–4 (Ages 6–9)
- Group B: Grades 5–8 (Ages 10–13)
- Group C: Grades 9–12 (Ages 14–18)
4. Time & Format
Each month features one session, held in the second week of the month, from 7:30 PM – 8:00 PM, starting from November 12, 2025, to July 31, 2026.
Schedule:
- Wednesday evening: Group A
- Thursday evening: Group B
- Friday evening: Group C
Session Duration: 30 minutes
- 5 mins – Warm-up, Welcome & International Greetings
- 5 mins – Global Sharing (Guest Speaker Talk)
- 15 mins – Kahoot! Quiz (10 questions based on the monthly theme)
- 5 mins – Summary & Awards (Top 3 & Top 20 per group)
5. Monthly Themes (subject to change)
- November: Continents & Countries of the World
- December: Technology – AI – The Connected World
- January: Global Cultures & Festivals
- February: International Organizations (UN, WHO, UNESCO, etc.)
- March: Global Environment & Climate Change
- April: World Figures & Inventions That Changed Humanity
- May: World Tourism – Natural & Man-Made Wonders
- June: Famous Cities and Landmarks
- July: Music & Sports Around the World
6. How to Participate
The monthly theme will be announced two weeks before the event through INschool’s Fanpage, Website, SO platform, Monday Assembly, and school bulletin boards.
Students will join the session via Zoom (the link will be sent to students and parents 60 minutes before the event).
To join the game, students use a Kahoot! PIN code.
Scores are calculated based on speed and accuracy.
